Why have a ball?
This event exists to celebrate and strengthen the unique bond between fathers and daughters by creating intentional space for connection, affirmation, and joy. It offers dads a meaningful opportunity to be fully present with their daughters—sharing laughter, conversation, and memorable moments—while imparting the values that shape character, confidence, and resilience. At its heart, the evening is about honoring a daughter’s inherent worth and dignity through a father’s love, guidance, and example. Our hope is that every girl leaves feeling deeply seen and valued, and every father leaves encouraged to continue investing in a relationship that will influence and support his daughter throughout her life.
We recognize that families come in many forms, and not every girl has a biological father who is able to attend. This event warmly welcomes grandfathers, uncles, older brothers, stepfathers, and other trusted male caregivers who play a consistent, supportive role in a girl’s life. What matters most is not a title, but the commitment to show up with respect, encouragement, and care. By honoring these relationships, we affirm that every girl deserves to be supported by safe, loving adults who invest in her well-being and help her grow with confidence and hope.
